Well, the professional British Gas man came out and told me that the banshee wailing from the shower was becasue the actual shower taps themselves were broken. Bit of a bugger i htought as Iapos;d already attached all the pipe work for the old ones. But worry not he said, you can buy a fitting that will go onto your existing pipework. As this meant a �100 for a new shower it had to wait.

So after a month of banshee wailing showers the new shower mixer thingy arrived. Very nice looking to, got X taps on it instead of plastic knobbly bits the old one had, so I redid it and attached it. Looks smashing.

Guess what...

Yep, the shower still wails like a banshee, possibly even more so. I am almost out of ideas, the only thing I can think of is that the new installed bit of chrome pipe (about a metree long) that goes into the loft is causing it, I just canapos;t see what else could be doing it :S

Plumber-man should be coming today to give quote about radiator, I will ask him, and if I ever catch up with the British Gas man heapos;d best watch out.

Today the toilet aspect of Operation: BATHROOM begins and the sink aspect is finished off. I have to finish off the waste connections for the sink (which looks lovely in its new position) and also replace the plastic cistern in the downstairs loo in the shed. The second part of this is so that we have emergency backup toilet if toilet replacement does not go exactly to plan.

I officially dropped my Microbiology class today. I felt like a failure pressing the drop button and receiving the message that I got a "W" in the class. Damn Microbiology, I will see you again next semester. After that I felt pretty blah. I didnapos;t know what to do with my Tuesdays now since I have so much time. I guess Iapos;ll be able to get stuff done now.
I had an appointment at 1:30 to take my car into the body shop. Took it to my co-workers/classmates husband in Roseville. He promised to take good car of my car and cut me some deals. He was really nice about it and hooked me up. I really do hate dealing with Enterprise though, they never have their shit together. I had a reservation, but they didnt have a car for me so they had to drive me to another location. Damn them Then they gave me a Ford Focus which is the only car I asked not to have. Great. Finally got home around 3:30 irritated from deal with them. I decided instead of pouting at home Iapos;d go to Majidapos;s and try and cheer up before class. We watch some family guy and wait for Jennie and Vince to arrive. The teacher actually went over something interesting in class, panoramic pictures. Too bad I was only half paying attention, Iapos;ll look it up online.
By the end of the night I was feel a bit better and tried to just forget about everything. Seems like Iapos;m good at that lately.

So I was just mulling over why Mel has been calling me so much lately. Wondering what to read into it, wondering if the fact that Iapos;m usually busy and ignore her when she calls has anything to do with her calling more. Then she sends me a txt and invites me over to dinner at her place. How am I supposed to make sense of that? Iapos;m so completely torn, part of me still knows the best course of action is to just cut her out of my life because itapos;ll mean less pain in the long run. Iapos;ll get over her (finally) and maybe move on with my life, find someone else, but no matter how much I think that, scream it in my head, I canapos;t say no to her. Iapos;m always optimistic for the long shot even though I know the odds are massively stacked against me.
