Wow...
I just spent 1hr chatting with a mate on skype.
Irsquo;d never believe how hard itrsquo;d be to speak English. I swear, for the first 20mins or so, it was all I could not do to not throw Japanese words in my sentences. My brainrsquo;s on auto Japanese... Which is great for here, but holy crap, my native language is going.
x.x
(This is basically the angst of training onersquo;s brain to be bilingual in their mid-twenties, I donrsquo;t wish this on your worst enemy, lol)
And the funny thing is, I speak English everyday to my host family for the benefit of the 5 year old, who they wish to have an English speaking environment when shersquo;s around, but just to have a casual, random convo in Englishhellip;
It was hard word. 6 days of being here and that was hard work.
And I got a freaking interview in 4 days...
(Well interviews and formal English and set questions are normal things we kinda have programmed within us and use only for those occasions I guess...)
But yeah... Kinda overwhelming, lol.
Itrsquo;s been a long ass day today anyways, I think I really pushed my brain with the speaking, reading and listening in Japanese, so maybe it was too tired for English, lol.
Will blog it soon, but will end with this note of:
I gots me a keitai (mobile)
So, just getting acquainted with my new baby for the nite ;)
